Clarifino Terms and Agreements Contract for Retreat Guests
Please take the time to read and understand the guest’s terms and conditions listed below prior to submitting your deposit and booking your Clarifino retreat. Part of the booking process requires a confirmation of your agreement to these terms and conditions.
- Your Booking is an Agreement
As a guest of Clarifino, you are considered to have agreed to the terms, conditions, and details of the retreat upon submitting your deposit.
2. Deposit and Payment
Upon submitting your $449 deposit to Clarifino, your space in the retreat is reserved. This is a non-refundable deposit. You are considered responsible for the remaining balance of the retreat no later than 6 weeks prior to the start of the retreat. We reserve the right to cancel your booking if the final payment is not fulfilled on or before the due date. If the guest wishes to submit the payment in full, we can arrange the remaining balance to be sent as an invoice after the deposit is submitted upon request.
3. Payment Plans
There is a payment plan available for all Clarifino guests. For shared room bookings, the $449 non-refundable deposit serves as the initial installment. The second installment of $774 will be due no later than 12 weeks prior to the start date. The third and final installment of $774 will be due no later than 6 weeks prior to the start date. The second and third installments will be sent via email to the Clarifino guest as an invoice.

4. Cancellation Policy
Official cancellations must be made in writing to info@clarifino.com. A cancellation 2 months prior to the retreat start date will receive a full refund minus the deposit. Cancellation 1 month prior to the retreat start date will receive 50% refund minus the deposit. Cancellation 2 weeks prior to the retreat start date will receive no refund. There will be no refunds for failure to attend or complete the retreat. The non-refundable deposit of $449 is transferrable to any Clarifino retreat of a future date within 1 year if unable to avoid cancellation.
5. Cancellation by Clarifino
Clarifino reserves the right to cancel any retreat or part of any retreat. In this occurrence, a retreat credit valid for 2 years will be awarded to the affected guests. If Clarifino cancels a retreat for any reason, including Force Majeure, Clarifino is not responsible for loss of funds in association with travel accommodations made by the guest.
6. Passports, Visas, and Flights
You are responsible for obtaining all necessary and required travel documents for the country you will visit during your retreat with Clarifino. For many countries, passports must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the duration of the trip. Visa information and details will be included in your trip’s logistics upon booking. You are fully accountable for booking your flights to and from the retreat. Clarifino is not responsible if you are refused entry into the country due to incorrect or missing travel documents and this situation will not result in a refund.
7. COVID-19
We understand the complexity of the situation that this pandemic has caused in regards to the reemergence of international travel. We are closely watching the regulations updated by the Immigration offices of Indonesia. If the international airport of Bali (DPS) remains closed to tourists and Visas on Arrival (VOA) are unavailable at the time of the retreat, a full refund will be given minus the deposit. As always, the non-refundable deposit can be transferred to a future Clarifino retreat. We are hopeful that Bali will open its borders to tourism before the Spring of 2022, however we have no control over the situation. 8. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is required to attend all Clarifino retreats, and guests will be held accountable for arranging their own policies. Clarifino does not offer travel insurance as part of our service, but it can be purchased through any reputable outside company, we recommend World Nomads, InsureMyTrip, or Allianz. All guests are individually responsible for any and all losses, penalties, fees, or other financial affairs that may be a result out of booking or canceling the retreat.
9. Roommate Requests of a Shared Room
Pairings will be carefully matched according to gender, age, and personality. If for any reason we are unable to fill your shared room with another roommate, you may be required to upgrade to a private room for a discounted price. If this is the case, we will be as transparent as possible and let you know as early as we can. If you are attending the Clarifino retreat with a friend or partner and wish to share a room with them, please let us know upon your booking and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
10. Retreat Schedule and Extra Activities/Excursions
The retreat page lists what is and is not included in the package of your retreat at the price according to your desired accommodation booking. Additional activities and excursions that you choose to attend during your free time are not included in the price and are not included in this agreement. Any assistance provided by a third party does not render Clarifino liable for them. Guests will receive a copy of the complete itinerary upon check in to the retreat. The schedule, activities and teachers are all subject to change.
11. Discretion to Deny Bookings
We reserve the right to reject any guest booking at any time prior to the start date. In this case, we will provide a full refund or retreat credit at Clarifino’s discretion.
12. Photography and Videography
There will be photography and videography taken during the duration of the retreat for marketing purposes of Clarifino. This content will be granted on a royalty-free agreement with the guest(s) involved. If for any reason you would like to be excluded from the photography or videography at any time during the retreat, please let us know.
13. Health, Immunizations, and Travel Warnings
Booking a retreat with Clarifino serves as a confirmation that you are in good health, willing, and able to performing the activities on the retreat. Each guest assumes full responsibility for researching the safety and security of the country that will be visited. Guests may visit their physician to know what vaccines are recommended if any. In addition, you also acknowledge that you are able to care for yourself during the retreat and do not have any medical conditions that could cause risk to yourself or others during the retreat.
14. Assumption of Risk
Clarifino is dedicated to your safety on each retreat, however you must take responsibility for your own safety. You agree and understand that you must assume the risks and intrinsic hazards that come along with international travel. These risks and hazards may include, without limitation: delays, injury, illness, death, unforeseeable force majeure, the negligence of Clarifino, or other persons (including third party operators), the intentional and/or criminal conduct of others, or other circumstances.
Medical attention in case of emergency may not always be readily available at the country of the retreat, or may be of different quality compared to what is available at the guest’s country of origin. The political, cultural and geographical climate may be very different from where you live, and in some cases, these differences may present increased risks and/or challenges. We use reasonably available information from the U.S. government, applicable foreign governments, and reports from our contacts in planning each retreat itinerary, and assessing the viability of each retreat itinerary as the start date approaches. However, it is your responsibility to acquaint yourself with all available and relevant travel information for your destination and the nature of your itinerary. You acknowledge and agree that your decision to travel is made after having considered this information, and you expressly assume the personal risks involved with such travel.
Indemnification: The guest recognizes that there is risk involved in the types of activities offered on a Clarifino retreat. Therefore the participant accepts financial responsibility for any injury that the participant may cause either to him/her/them, or to any other participant due to his/her/their negligence. Should the above-mentioned parties, or anyone acting on their behalf, be required to incur attorney’s fees and costs to enforce this agreement, you agree to reimburse them for such fees and costs. You further agree to indemnify and hold harmless Clarifino and the hosting organization, agents, employees, and volunteers from liability for the injury or death of any person(s) and damage to property that may result from your negligent or intentional act or omission while participating in activities offered. This includes any area selected during the retreat.
15. Limitation of Liability and Release
You acknowledge and agree that Clarifino and its affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, members, and employees, shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential or incidental damage, liability, injury, loss, cost or expense you may incur (including any claim relating to personal injury, illness, death, property damage or loss, delay or other inconvenience) arising out of, or by reason of (i) the acts or omissions of any Third Party Operator or (ii) the negligence of any of the Clarifino Parties or (iii) any acts or omissions of any other parties or (iv) force majeure events.
You release the Clarifino parties from any and all claims, liabilities, losses, expenses, damages, demands, actions, causes of action, lawsuits or sums of money of any kind arising out of, by reason of, resulting from and/or related to any trip you may book and/or participate in; and you understand and acknowledge that you are fully responsible for and expressly assume any and all risks, whether known or unknown, in connection therewith.
16. Privacy Policy
Any personal information that Clarifino collects in regards to the guest may be used for any purpose associated with the operations of the retreat, or to send the guest marketing material in relation to events and special offers. The information may be disclosed to our teachers, service providers or other suppliers in order to permit Clarifino to operate the retreat.
17. Allergies and Food Allergies Notification, Acknowledgement, and Release of Liability
Clarifino cannot guarantee an environment free of allergens or food allergens on a retreat. We do our best to accommodate all food allergies, but are not able to guarantee entirely allergen-free environments. Therefore, the released parties cannot guarantee that any particular food product is free of all traces of any particular allergen, that consumption of a food product will not result in some form of allergic reaction, or that the participant will not come into contact with any allergens while in attendance on a Clarifino retreat.
The guest acknowledges and agrees that they are aware of such risks and that participation in the event will expose the participant to food, activities and persons that may result in exposure to allergens and injury, and in that regard by assuming such risks, the participant hereby fully releases and discharges Clarifino from any and all liability and/or responsibility to the participant or any third party for death and/or injuries to the participant, and/or any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, or any damages that arise out of or relate to a guest’s participation in a Clarifino retreat and/or exposure to food allergens.
18. Updating Terms and Conditions
Clarifino reserves the right to update and/or alter these Terms and Conditions at any time. Current information can always be found on clarifino.com/terms and any updates and/or changes will supersede any previous versions.
WAIVER
Release and Waiver of Liability
As consideration for being endorsed by Clarifino to participate in these activities, I hereby agree that I, my assignees, heirs, distributees, guardians, and legal representatives will not make a claim against, sue or attach the property of Clarifino, their affiliates, employees, agents, volunteers or any of their affiliated organizations for injury or damage resulting from acts, howsoever caused, by any employee, agent, or contractor, or any of their affiliated organizations, as a result of my participation in a Clarifino retreat. I hereby release Clarifino, and any of their agents or affiliated organizations from all actions, claims or demands that I, my assigns, heirs, distributes, guardians, and legal representatives now have or may hereafter have for injury, damage, or death resulting from my participation in a Clarifino retreat.
I am medically, physically, emotionally and in all respects fit and able to participate in a Clarifino retreat.
I agree I will be fully and financially responsible for my own physical condition and well-being during the retreat, and will follow the safety precautions and instructions arranged by Clarifino.
I acknowledge that Clarifino may make occasional suggestions with the intention to help my well-being. However, I take ultimate responsibility for my choices and realize that Clarifino is not a licensed medical provider, and that I must consult my doctor.
If I experience pain or discomfort during the retreat, I will modify Clarifino instruction to suit my individual needs. I will not hold Clarifino responsible for any pain or discomfort I experience during or after the retreat. I understand that the activities offered on this retreat are not a substitute for medical care or professional help. I understand that Clarifino is not qualified to perform spinal or skeletal adjustments, diagnose, prescribe, or treat physical or mental illness.
For the benefit of everyone, Clarifino reserves the right to accept or reject any participant at any time without liability, and in the event Clarifino determines, in its sole and exclusive discretion, that a participant is disruptive to the harmony of the retreat, it may, without any obligation to pay a refund or any other amount whatsoever, expel such participant from the retreat. Clarifino will carry no responsibility or liability for any participant who leaves the retreat prior to its conclusion or for any activity undertaken by any participant, which is not included on the retreat itinerary.
By agreeing to the terms and conditions outlined on this page and the details of the retreat on the Clarifino website, I hereby release and discharge my rights and claims for damages or liabilities that may occur as a result of participation on a Clarifino retreat.
